I've been using Wordpress for a while now and have been fairly happy with it, but with the new release of Blogger I thought I would give it a whirl.
The image above is a long exposure from my recent Cornwall trip, the initial RAW file was a little flat at first glance and was left on the hard drive. I saw it again when I was looking for something else and realised it may have some potential.
The first process was a little uninspiring, the sky was washed out but I liked the shape of the river and the contrast with the rocks. I masked the sky and made a new layer with it before adjusting levels to bring out the cloud detail, this had the unexpected effect of adding a blue cast to the sky which I liked.
To counter the tint in the sky I added a cooling filter to the base layer, I finished by making some localised contrast adjustments to the rocks and river,
